Wrapping Up 2019
Project Furbaby Retrieval - GO TIME!
It’s finally here. We pick up our Furbaby this week and we’re still trying to decide if we’ve puppy proofed enough. Or bought enough toys. Or bought enough wardrobes for our trip. Either way, we are super excited and ready for our adventure.
Out with the OG(9), in with the EOS R
Let’s just go to the camera store to waste time, they say. It will be fun, they say. There is a killer Canon deal going on, they say. And now Ryan has a new camera.
After trading everything in we went to grab lunch with Veronica and Andrew. The food was good, the company was better, and the christening shots are below.
Moving Day
While still in Austin, we helped John, Sam, and the rest of the Onyx crew move into their new space. It’s a great location and was fun catching up. I can’t wait to see the space filled out and pumping out killer art.
The Dallas Zoo
Our last weekend in Dallas for 2019 was spent at the Zoo. We quickly checked out the exhibits before the animals went up and will definitely be back. The lions were rambunctious, the gorillas could care less about entertaining, and the reptiles were all show. One rattlesnake was having a really bad day. I mean they always look angry but this guy (or gal) was rattling and ready to strike.
Lights at the Zoo
Following the zoo, we met up with The Kaisers to walk around the zoo’s trail of lights. Graham is growing like a weed and Brie was super chill…for all but the last 10min. I don’t blame her. I thought the trail could have been organized a little more efficiently myself. It was also great catching up with Jeremy and Lisa to get the low down on their move to Dallas and house build that is getting underway. Drinks are in our near future for more details.
Random Tidbits
This Christmas has shown us how good of friends and family we have with all the love and cards we received. Thanks to everyone!
We both miss seeing our families for the holidays, but a late spring trip is in the works.
Work is kicking both of our butts, but I think 2020 is going to be good to us.
